Your artists have been working hard to create their "Square One" artwork over the past couple of weeks. Square One Art is replacing our Original Works fundraiser. This is our beloved school fundraiser opportunity where you can order treasured keepsakes that feature your child's artwork and benefit the Taylor community.
Next week, your artist will finish their artwork in class and it will be ready to upload to the Square One Art website. Uploading your child's artwork to the Square One Art website is optional, and only necessary if you want to order products featuring your child's artwork. If your artist started their project over again this week because they could not find theirs or they had a new idea, it's possible they might need to work on this outside of Art class to get it done in time. If they followed along in class with the presented project, they will finish by the end of the day on Thursday 10/8. Although a project idea was presented, your artist is free to follow their own idea, but the paper still needs to be in the shape of a square (8" x 8" or larger is recommended-but not required.)
