Dine Out at Sloppy Mama's BBQ on Wednesday, February 12th and Support the Taylor PTA

Support the Taylor PTA by dining out this Wednesday, February 12, from 11 am - 8 pm at Sloppy Mama's BBQ. 15% of all sales will go back to supporting our school community.

Ninja Nation Nights at Taylor

The Taylor PTA is excited to host two Family Ninja Nation Nights during the Taylor Tiger Ninja Week! On February 25th and 27th, from 5:30-8pm, families can come and enjoy the mobile Ninja Nation obstacle course. Each family will have 25 minutes to explore the ninja courses, balance course, and the rock wall in the Taylor gym. Older siblings are welcome to attend. Advanced signup is required - RSVP Here! Be on the lookout for the volunteer signup later this week!

NEW at Taylor- Boys Gotta Run- Registration Open!

This spring Mr. Bowers and the Taylor Tigers are excited to be starting the Boys Gotta Run program for 3rd - 5th grade! Boys will work to learn different ways to train, be positive leaders, learn the pillars of character, and prepare for a 5k! Boys Gotta Run will begin on Tuesday March 11th at 8am and will meet every Tuesday through May 6th (except 4/15 due to Spring Break). On May 6th, the program will finish with a celebratory 5k!

Girls on the Run Registration Open Now!

Registration is now open for the spring season of Girls on the Run! Ms. Ross has a wonderful crew of teachers ready to lead your 3rd-5th grade girls this spring. The season starts the week of March 3rd. Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8am-8:40am at Taylor. For more information and to register click here!

Topic: APS Budget

Guest Speaker: Peter Strack, Budget Advisory Council Chair: Peter Strack, the chair of the Budget Advisory Council, will join us to discuss the APS Budget, facing a shortfall between $35-50M (and possibly as high as $70M), and the realities of the current structural deficits.

Read-A-Thon March 3rd-14th!

We are excited to kick off our read-a-thon in March, sponsored by Ice Cream Jubilee! More details will be sent out later in the month, including how to register and get started, but each student who participates in the read-a-thon and hits their reading goal will get a coupon for a free ice cream at Ice Cream Jubilee! There will also be class prizes for which class reads the most, and teacher prizes too.
